Internship 1
What will the intern do?
Involved with the creation of the user interface – the look and feel of the site.

What skills will they learn?

• Application of effective human-computer interface design
• Creation and use of effective graphics
• Simple DOM-manipulation using the 3rd party library

Internship 2
Involved with taking the site concept to reality, the workings behind the user interface.

What skills will they learn?

• Developing client-side web applications using javascript.
• Web-based client/server interaction using AJAX and MVC.
• Modern cross-browser layout using XHTML and CSS.

Internship 3
What will the intern do?
Involved with data manipulation and analysis, algorithms, measure inputs, interpret and determine outputs.

What skills will they learn?

• Application of algorithms and heuristics to solve real-world problems.
• Automated statistical processing and interpretation of data sets.
• Common software design patterns used to support the above.
• Optimal database design for OLTP / non-OLTP systems
• Data migration techniques.

Remuneration: $4,000 - $6,000
Hours: 20 hrs / week
Duration: 8-12 weeks
